HVAC Blower Motor

Operating heavy equipment without a working heater or A/C is uncomfortable. A bad HVAC blower motor is often the cause. When you feel weak or no airflow from your vents, your blower motor likely needs to be replaced. At FridayParts, we have a wide selection of replacement HVAC blower motors and resistors to keep your cab comfortable, no matter the job.

Signs Your Blower Motor Needs Replacing

If you notice any of these issues, it might be time for a new blower motor or resistor.

  • Weak Airflow: The fan seems to be on, but very little air is coming out of the vents. This can mean the motor is failing and can't push air effectively.
  • No Airflow: You turn on the heat or AC, but nothing happens. If the fuses are good, the blower motor itself has likely failed completely.
  • Strange Sounds: Listen for squealing, grinding, or rattling noises from your dash when the fan is on. These sounds often point to bad bearings or a broken part inside the motor.
  • Only Works on High Speed: The fan only works when you set it to the highest speed. This usually means the blower motor resistor is bad, not the motor itself.
