If you turn the key and get nothing (or only intermittent dash power), a worn ignition switch may not be sending 12V to the starter solenoid. Common buyer-reported signs: the key won’t spring back from START, accessories cut out over bumps, the engine won’t shut off, or the key feels loose and “gritty.”
Before you order, you’ll want to confirm the switch style, terminal count, and connector type (often spade terminals), because a “universal” fit can still wire differently.
